New This Year

After decades on NBC, the French Open this year moves to the TNT Sports networks of TNT and truTV and the streaming service Max. Additional coverage will continue to air Tennis Channel.

The bulk of live coverage, including the singles finals, will air on TNT. Coverage on truTV will include a daily whiparound show during the first week of play (titled “The Rally at Roland-Garros”), round of sixteen action on Court Suzanne Lenglen, singles quarterfinals, doubles semifinals, and simulcasts of the singles finals on TNT.

Max will have coverage of all matches played at Roland-Garros.

Streaming the French Open

As Max will carry all matches, one will need only to purchase a $10 subscription to access all French Open coverage. (Typically, sporting events on Max are only available using the B/R Live add-on, which includes all sporting events on TNT, TBS and truTV, but is only available with the $17/mo Standard and $21/mo Premium plans.)

The TNT Sports networks are also available to watch on YouTube TV, DIRECTV STREAM and Sling.
